Den Hoed Music vzw (DHM) is a Belgian non-profit organization founded in 2012, which supports bands and musicians.

Originally the duo Bauke Meersman (sax) and Sanne werkers (guitar) were the founders of Den Hoed Duo.

In 2011 the band expanded into Den Hoed Quartet. Bauke, Sanne and Joris Meys (baritone sax with Den Hoed Quartet) brought our vzw to life to give their own bands and other future projects extra opportunities.

Bands and musicians can count on musical, but also practical and administrative support.

Jam sessions are organized. This is where we discover new talents and where musicians are inspired to start up projects together. Den Hoed Music also organizes performances for the bands and musicians, often in collaboration with other organizations.

Musicians meet each other and come up with new ideas from which bands emerge. This can develop further under the wings of Den Hoed Music vzw.
